I think I’ll include some of my photos on this blog as well. If there is one thing I enjoy more than making food it’s eating food taking photos of the food I make!

This was a venison stew made with sweet potatoes and turnips (among other things), and a loaf of herbed soda bread I had baked the day before.

The stew was a variation (based on what I had in my pantry) on this recipe here for deer stew on the Food For Hunters blog. 

The soda bread was a variation on this Caraway Soda Bread at SimplyRecipes.com. I am not a fan of caraway, but loooove thyme, so I seasoned my bread with a combo of thyme and rosemary. It was a resounding success.
